On August 4, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed in Beijing between CNPC and Bank of China under the national Belt and Road Initiative. According to the agreement, the two sides will expand cooperation in financing, cash management and international settlement, consultation, wealth investment, interbank cooperation, insurance, and investment banking.
CNPC Chairman Wang Yilin and his counterpart Tian Guoli from Bank of China attended the signing ceremony. Prior to the ceremony, they had a profound discussion on reinforcing cooperation and giving full play to the strengths of the two companies in support of the national Belt and Road Initiative.
